This Simplicity 1850 vintage sewing pattern is from 1956 and is for a nightgown, a negligee and a hostess or brunch Coat. The sleeveless, gathered nightgown is trimmed in lace and bows. The robe of the negligee has lace trim, a collar, puff sleeves and is open in front except for the tie at the neck.  The hostess coat has front patch pockets and buttons up the front.

We love vintage lingerie patterns and this one is a classic 1950's peignoir pattern that can be made in a variety of fabrics.
